Formed in 2005, Longo & Associates, LLP is a Delaware based law firm, specializing in residential and commercial real estate transactions, land development, and corporate mergers or acquisitions. The firm also provides corporate document preparation and representation for civil arbitration. We have licensed attorneys in both Delaware and Pennsylvania and conduct title and escrow services for closings in DE, PA, NJ, MD and VA. We also have a network of escrow officers throughout the country to facilitate transactions in 48 states. Matt Longo

Matt was born in Newark, Delaware and graduated from St. Marks High School. He went on to graduate from the University of Delaware with a B.S. in Civil Engineering and received his Juris Doctorate from Widener University’s Delaware Law School. At Widener, he received the prestigious Certificate of Achievement in Secured Transactions and Evidence. In 2005, Matt formed Longo & Associates, LLP, a real estate law firm specializing in residential and commercial transactions in Delaware. The firm also provides corporate document preparation, representation for civil arbitration, and the facilitation of corporate mergers and acquisitions. Matt also serves as General Counsel for Hillcrest Associates, Inc. in Landenberg, PA and is responsible for all legal matters within the company, along with the management of residential and land development projects. Matt also handles land use issues including variance applications. Matt is a member of the Delaware State Bar Association and the Delaware Association of Professional Engineers. He is admitted to practice in the Federal Court for the District of Delaware as well as the Supreme Court for the State of Delaware. Matt enjoys spending time fishing with his sons, coaching his daughter’s lacrosse, boating and reading.

Kim Longo

Kim was born in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania and graduated from Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with her Bachelor degree in Speech Pathology and her Master’s degree in Education. In 2004, she received her Juris Doctorate from the Delaware Law School. During her time there, she received the Certificate of Achievement in Legal Writing Methods and was honored with the Lindsay Law Library Award. Kim brings an in-depth understanding of law and real estate with ten years of experience as General Counsel for Hillcrest Associates in Landenberg, Pennsylvania, a Land Development, Architecture and Engineering firm. In this position, she experienced all aspects of real estate development including house design, renovations, land surveys and residential sales. Kim is a member of the Pennsylvania and New Jersey bar and is admitted to practice law in the United States District Court and Supreme Court of Pennsylvania. Kim is also a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and an Associate Member of the Delaware State Bar Association. Kim enjoys entertaining family and friends, spending time at the beach, boating, reading and of course, she stays busy with her three children, Nathan, Sophia and Henry.

Lisa Keil Cartwright

Lisa brings a wealth of experience in real estate law. She has conducted residential and commercial real estate transactions for over 25 years. Lisa is a lifelong Delawarean and a graduate of Tower Hill School and the University of Delaware. She is also the daughter of former U.S. Attorney General, Ralph Keil. Lisa loves Eagles football, watching her sons play baseball and spending time at the beach.

Jen Lane Covey

Jen is a resident of Newark, Delaware who started her real estate career in 1999. Her understanding and love of real estate has propelled her 19 years in the profession. She is experienced in facilitating bank owned, relocation, and first time home buyer closings. Jennifer enjoys working with and guiding clients, realtors and lenders through complicated transactions. Alayna Cooke

Alayna has worked as a Real Estate Paralegal for the past twenty years. Prior to that she also worked as an assistant at several real estate companies, therefore she has extensive knowledge of the real estate transaction and has a long track record of client satisfaction with buyers, sellers and realtors alike. Alayna lives in Pennsylvania but is originally from the Pike Creek area and is a graduate of St. Mark’s High School and Goldey-Beacom College. In her free time, she enjoys going to the beach, attending her son’s sporting events and attending live music events, as her husband and son are both musicians in local bands.
